Brenda offers a comprehensive range of psychological assessments tailored to meet each client’s specific needs using a holistic and in-depth approach.

Psychological Assessments

Every assessment generally includes:

Cognitive Assessment ($2100): includes WAIS or WISC plus functional capacity assessment.
Autism ($3700): includes cognitive assessment, MIGDAS and functional capacity.
ADHD - Child ($3500): includes cognitive assessment, executive function, ADHD clinical interview and functional capacity. Parent/teacher questionnaires are included.
ADHD - Adult ($2100): includes Test of Everday Attention, clinical interview and functional capacity, which includes obtaining collateral information from friends/family.
Learning Difficulties, including dyslexia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia ($3850): includes cognitive, Test of Academic achievement, and functional capacity. Can be administered for adults and children.
Memory ($3650): includes cognitive, test of premorbid functioning, memory assessment and functional capacity with collateral information.
Cosmetic readiness assessment ($500): includes clinical interview, questionnaires and short report.
Executive Functioning Adults ($3500): includes cognitive assessment, DKEFS, and functional capacity with collateral information.
Mood/Anxiety/PTSD/OCD ($1500): Clinical interview [Quick-SCID] and functional capacity assessment.
Combined Autism and ADHD ($4200): includes cognitive, autism and ADHD assessment along with functional capacity assessment.
Combined Autism, ADHD and Learning ($5000): includes cognitve, autism, ADHD, learning and functional capacity assessment.

Assessment Process

Most assessments begin with an initial 50-minute consultation, plus 10 minutes dedicated to notetaking. During this session, Brenda gathers a full history of the presenting issues and discusses the goals for the assessment. If your presentation is complex, this initial session might be split into 2 sessions. Based on this interview and questionnaires you'll complete, it will be determined the type of assessment needed and an estimated cost will be provided.

Brenda’s assessments are thorough and include psychometric testing, collecting collateral information, observations (such as in a school setting if required), analysis and diagnosis, a comprehensive report, and a feedback session. The time required varies depending on the type of assessment, typically ranging from 6 to 20+ hours.

Fees and Payment Schedule

The initial 50-minute consultation fee is $265. You might be eligible to get a rebate from NDIS, your private Health Fund or Work Cover.
If you are looking to undergo a diagnostic assessment to apply to NDIS, neither NDIS nor Medicare will cover this cost.
NDIS participants with mobility issues: Brenda can assess clients at their home based on a case by case decision.
Fees must be paid at your appointment.
Cancellations and re-scheduling must be done 48 hours before the appointment (No refunds will be provided if you miss a session or if you do not cancel before payment is processed).
To proceed with the assessment, the deposit quoted at your appointment is required at the first session of psychometric testing.
The remaining balance is due upon completion of the report, which will be shared during the feedback session.
Payment plans may be available upon request. Please ask our friendly staff if you need access to this.
Reports will only be released once full payment has been received.
Reports can be sent to third parties if you request it, such as paediatricians, psychiatrists or other specialists.
Reports requested by WorkCover are paid by them and send directly to the Case Manager.
